Today we made a last minute appointment to find a dress. When we walked in we met with Bunny who was beyond helpful and an amazing person all together. She got us started and even picked out the first dress to get us looking. My sweet daughter tried on every dress we could find that she liked and was not loving them. She decided to try on the dress Bunny found just for fun and wouldn't you know that was the dress. Bunny knows her brides and dress styles. The thought that we found a dress at a reasonable price but also helped a woman's charity was perfect for us. Thank you for an amazing experience

I would highly recommend Brides for a Cause in Tacoma to anyone looking for a dress! I hadn't been dress shopping before, and I found the perfect one the first time visiting. The laid back & friendly staff are so kind & supportive. I spent 10% of the retail price on a new sample dress. I will refer all newly engaged brides to shop here first.

We went first to a well known bridal shop before coming here, and let me just say... WOW. The whole experience is so worth it. Brides for a Cause far exceeds any other wedding dress buying experience, in every way!!!! Its so PRETTY inside that just going in FEELS special. Then, the team is helpful and wants to make everyone comfortable, felt very much like a tailored experience. No pushiness, tonnnnnns of options!!!! Many sizes. Long story short, THE dress was acquired AND I'm a fan for life.

Brides for a Cause funds a variety of local and national women-focused charities, they change it up each year. You can nominate a charity as well. Their website says: Each year, we partner with various local and national 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations to provide financial support. Types of beneficiaries we fund include those that: Support women with serious health issues, specifically pertaining to the top two women killers: cancer and heart disease Promote positive self-image and self-esteem for young women Support women in the military Provide relief for single mothers, abused women and women who are disabled Promote opportunities for women’s education and women in the workforce
They gives brides a list of seamstresses for referral.
As far as I know they accept used dresses in good condition. I would give them a call to make an appointment
