I believe people who want to be a student here should know the TRUTH before attending. There’s a lot of lies that I was told before coming such as we would have a graduation ceremony at the convention center by BROOKE (my recruiter) and I was even showed a video of graduation, and I realized it was an old video so I made sure to ask my recruiter over and over that we would get that same graduation and she assured me I would. Now attending I find out from an upper phase student that we will not be getting the graduation as in the video, instead we just get a extremely small ceremony at the school on cosmetology side, absolutely completely different then the video I was showed. Now I understand if that’s how they want to do it, but why lie to us about it, and we won’t find out until it’s too late. A lot of students along with me feel extremely upset about this and when brought up, I was told they would update the video (which they still have not ) and that it’s better that way anyway and more “personal” …. Okay …but why lie and why is no one being held accountable for this ? Another thing they don’t tell you is on top of the tuition, you still have to pay for a lot of things they require you to have that did not come in your kit. However I have learned about facials and I am getting a License once I am finished which Is why I give the school three stars. Now I should not be blamed for this comment and if I am treated different because of this comment I will have my lawyer contacting the school. I am not bashing the school I am only telling the TRUTH. And I need anyone who wants to attend this school to realize the truth before attending.

I had been booked with a black lady named Tracy, she was extremely rude and loud about my hair being so called “tangled” and charged me an extra 10 dollars for detangling… she embarrassed and hurt my feelings making me seem like I’m the problem just because I wanted a wash and blow dry. She then gave me some beginner (Caucasian girl) who didn’t know what to do with curly hair, I didn’t really mind at all it’s just that she wasn’t flat ironing my hair right at all. Nor blow drying. I told her that, but her response was “you can go to someone else if I’m not doing it right”. Ogle school is one of the most unprofessional and condescending self centered places who only care about money I’ve ever seen. I’m extremely hurt by this place’s attitude. I was there for 8 hours due to no one knowing what they are doing. I’m an extremely patient person, but never again will I step foot in this place. If you have thick curly hair I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Between the administration and the instructors, you're better off paying double the price and going to Paul Mitchels. The worst cosmetology school to put your spouse or children through.

It cost me a little over $20,000 to go full time. Financial aid helped out tremendously though.
At Ogle School we only offer the Cosmetology and Esthetic programs. There are schools that offer only a nail tech program should that be your focused interest. If you have interests beyond nails, such as skincare, makeup, or haircare we would be happy to help you explore other career possibilities in the beauty industry.

there is no school that offers barber specifically for black hair
Hi Diana. That is a great question. The out-of-pocket investment in a student’s education can vary depending on the program (Cosmetology or Esthetics), the schedule (Full-Time or Part-Time) and the amount of financial aid the student qualifies for. As part of our prospective student tour, your admissions representative will help you determine which program and schedule would be the best fit and you will get an opportunity to meeting with a financial aid representative who will be able help students determine what their specific educational investment would look like. Please contact an admissions representative at 888-820-8224 so that they can discuss our program offerings and get you set up to tour your local campus.
Hi Eden! We have licensing programs in both cosmetology and esthetics, both full-time and part-time, and costs depend on your financial aid. You can find out more information on our various programs here: https://www.ogleschool.edu/beauty-school-programs/ -- if you request more info about that program you're most interested in, we'll get right back to you!
We have recently begun offering eyelash extensions at every location! Please contact the front desk for pricing. Thank you!
