This bike trail never gets old and will entertain you as you train. The scenery is constantly changing, yes, there are some hills, many wonderful aromas as you pedal past cafe's and restaurants. Herons stalking, hawks circling, turtles sun bathing, snakes swimming, train tracks trembling, runners striding, and "pedals a turning" up and down this wonderful trail. Way to go Ft Worth and Tarrant County!

I love exploring here! Whether it’s warm or cold outside, I can always have fun. In the winter, and on the rare occasion it snows, you can slide down the hills on cardboard. The ducks are usually still in the duck pond too! When it’s warmer there is plenty of trails to keep you occupied on foot or on a bike. There are plenty of restaurants along the path. So many detours. It’s a great location to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Get there early and find a good place to park. This is a great location to walk your dog, exercise, or relax. There are playgrounds and swings for the kids. If you enjoy eating outside, there are plenty of picnic spots and a few tables.

It's always a great experience when I get to come out here and run 🤗

Yep. See animals there all the time. They also gave the doggy water fountains on the bottom of the fountains .
There are no trains? Its a public park with walking/biking trails along a river. Trails are free to use.
Yes there is a handicapped accessible porta potty on the left side of the main sidewalk by the parking lot. It is somewhat disguised so it doesn't look as bad.
Yes there are some places along the river where access to the water is relatively easy and safe as long as you are fairly agile and watch your footing carefully. A lot of mossy rocks in there. The water itself may be unsafe due to harmful microbial life which may reach dangerous concentrations during drought periods and stagnation of the remaining water. The city should be checking the water and posting warnings when this condition exists. Easiest and safest wading access is right above and below the falls.
It's in the Trinity I wouldn't do it, I think the water is polluted
Yes you can BBQ.
Yes to all. It closes at 10pm. The water fountains even have dispensers for dogs.
It's not made for buses. There is only one lane for cars and very few parking spots.
Not much. You can hike and climb some of the rocks around the falls. But there is a Navy base on one side and houses on the other and then the path runs along the river.
It is about a third of a mile, maybe slightly less.
I believe 5 mins
You must take a offering to the spirit of the river, ye have been warned
