North Hills hospital is a fine hospital with excellent doctors and nurses. For 18 days my wife stayed in the ICV unit and everything was done that could be done to make her stay as pleasurable as possible. Finally after 18 days it was deceided the hospital had done it could and my wife was transferred but in much better condition than before she came. For this I thank the staff. I do have one negative. Be careful what you say around staff. A nurse completly misunderstood something I said and filed a terror report against me. There was no investigation to see if there was any fojndings and I was never given a chance to speak, instead I was banned from the hospital while my wife was in a near dealth situation. My wife had her BP drop to near coma due to the trauma of my being banned. Our emotions were not considered only the emotions who submitted an unwarranted complaint. So I warn you, if you go to North hills, you can expect good care but keep your mouth shut and don't ask questions' let the staff do their thing even if you disagree or else they will throw members of your family out. I might also add the nurses don't know how to deal with veterans who suffer from P.T.S.S. that is why I got throwed out. I call that not being veteran friendly and not trying to understand. By the way my wife passed on Nov 1. I feel north hills did all they could but they completly destroyed my wife's emotions and she lost her will to live all because her husband was not allowed to visit. When my wife was transfered I was allowed to visit and we had time together. Strange how north hills destroyed my wife's emotions because I was barred yet another facility allowed me to visit. When she was transferred her wemotions rose and she passed in peace.

I truly LOVED the nursing staff! From Shelly and Patrick in Outpatient to Kristen in ICU! They were all BEAUTIFUL people who gave me (and I'm sure others) their BEST!!!

there were 4 nurses that I need to mention with an outstanding service and daisy awards. These are all in the cardiac 2nd floor. Samy, Karen, Laura, and Stacey there help was outstanding.
