Such a beautiful, sacred, temple to visit. My family helped build certain parts of this space. I'm not from the state, but when I visited my family brought me to visit my granny's ashes that are kept here. You feel such a sense of peace & calm when you are here...no one & nothing can bother you or hurt you. Wish I could go all the time.

Have you ever been out and something catches your eye? If you're out driving and you notice something that stands out, you'll most likely wonder what it is. I was amazed to be here.

This is a WONDERFUL monastery. Daily public events are morning chanting (6am-7am), evening chanting (6pm-7pm), and the meal offering (10:30am). Most of the communication is conducted in Thai/Lao but ALL are welcome. Whether you're new to or educated in Buddhism, keep in mind that Dhamma & The Buddha's teachings are universal and can be applied to everyone and everything. Go, observe, reflect, and learn! :)

Hi Crystal, yes! Anyone can visit. Here, you will see the daily activities of a monastery and have the opportunity to chant and meditate as a group from 6-7am and 6-7pm. If you're interested in learning more about Buddhism, you could search these two websites. accesstoinsight.org dhammatalks.org Both websites contain English translations of The Buddha's teachings as well as written and audio collections of Dhamma talks.
Hello Yingpan, yes, the monastery is open daily from 7am-7pm. Some people bring their home grown vegetables to sell around lunch time and usually stay from 9am-12pm.
Yes you can. Theres a parking area inside
It was last Sunday for this temple, it will be at Buddhist center of Dallas this coming Sunday.
Depending on the days of the week and whatever they're having at the time...my guess is open at 8 to 9 am closed at 7 pm.
