Do not deal with alma do not give her admin fee she will not give it back she will have you sign something and will not go over the signed document with you she is taking admin fees and acting like you did not approve be very careful when dealing with her or the apartment complex periodt

Alma is a great property manager things have been getting done since she got here I’ve been a resident for 8 years.We each have our own problems in our apartments and residents need to understand that she cannot fix everything that was left behind From previous managers keep up the good work Alma.

Exquisite Taste

I first came in mid March asking about a one bedroom apartment. I was advised my Mrs. Myra that she could have one ready by April 1st. I was happy because my lease is up at the end of March. I went ahead that day and paid the application fee and she contacted me a few days later confirming approval. We setup a time for me to come in 03/20/21 to pay a deposit of $450. When I arrived no one was there. I then reached out to Mrs. Myra by phone and she advised me she had an emergency and to sign the money order and drop it in the drop box on the door. I did exactly that. Monday I was expecting a call to confirm the deposit was received but that call never came. Tuesday I called twice and both times my call was unanswered. Wednesday while on my lunch I drove from Arlington to Canyon Oaks Apartments after my phone calls went unanswered the entire morning. Not once was I upset, mad, or angry just simply trying to speak to someone and get some answers of the process of my apartment. I was met by Elma who advised me that Mrs. Myra was no longer and the office and she was taking over. Which I had no problem with. She ask me to give her until Friday (03/26/21) and she should be able to provide me with and update. Totally understandable. So Saturday rolls around and I have still yet to hear from Elma so I called, called, and called again Saturday morning and received no answer. So again I was forced to drive to DeSoto for an update on the apartment. (30min -40min drive depending on traffic) When I arrived Elma was setting at the front desk on her phone as she was the first time we met a few days ago we spoke to each other I set down and asked her why was it so hard to get someone to answer the phone now since before this had never been an issue. Elma proceeded to get upset as if I was calling her out. I simply explained to her that each time I have had to drive to Desoto from Arlington just to have her give me an update that took less than 2 mins to give. Which in my opinion is unprofessional and inconsiderate. Then another lady walks in and Elma begins to tell me she will not be renting to me because there is no longer any 1bedrooms available. The other young lady spoke up and said I don't think that is correct because at least two apartments are vacant in my building. Elma then states she will not rent to me because she doesn't have to. At that time I requested her supervisor contact information. I have never been treated so horrible in my life!!!
