I took my clothes in and they were all nicely hung on hangers. I was told they had to be folded and in a bin or laundry basket for them to look at due to covid. I am not going to lie I was a bit annoyed but luckily I had a bin in my car so I took it into the store and put my clothes on the floor and folded them in front of the clerks so they had an idea of what I was dropping off. Once in the bin and checked in they said it would be a 1-2 hour wait and I had to get pick my clothes that day. I decided to stay close by rather than go home and head back at the 7:00 pick up time. When I went to claim the items they did not want I was told they could not make an offer on any of the items I brought in including a pair of Paige designer jeans. I did not expect an offer on all the items but there was not an offer on even one item. Two plus hours of the day wasted :-(. I would recommend reading all the google reviews. This doesn't appear to be an isolated incident in the recent months unfortunately. I won't be shopping there again.

I went here with my friend, and they had a variety of sizes in women’s clothes although I didn’t buy anything that day I do plan on going back. My friend had went here prior to this day and she found several Beautiful shirts some still had the tags on it.

I tried to sell some good brand clothes in excellent condition at this place. None of them were bought. While waiting, I checked out the store and I ended up figuring out why. My clothes were too nice and the sizes too small in comparison to what I saw. The girl at the counter told me they look for “styles” that sell well. Check what they sell first. If what you have is nicer, don’t bother.

So I came in with a plastic bin and a tote bag full of clothes, and read the sign on the window. Other consignment shops I've been to have similar practices and have bought out of the same tote, so I figured it wouldn't be an issue. I'm told it's an issue, that's fine. I explain that I'll put the clothes from the tote bag into the plastic bin, when I'm told by a staff member that the tote bag needs to go back in my car and cannot be left on the counter. There's no one else in the store but one person and the staff are chatting about labrador retrievers so I didn't see how leaving the tote on the empty counter would make a difference. Anyways I'm like, okay, it's policy, nothing the staff can do. No reason to get upset. I search through the selection and the stuff is SO overpriced. I found nothing under $15 and spent 30min shopping (No one else entered the store in said time frame). As I'm shopping, I overhear the staff complaining about a scenario where they limit customers to one bin per customers, and a group of 3 people split 3 bins between each other. I've worked retail for 2 years and have no understanding why this is a problem for them. Anyways, they didn't buy one piece out of the 30 I brought in. Unprompted, a staff member explained that the styles were "too junior and had wear" when I went to retrieve the bin. The bin contained a lot of lane Bryant and torrid styles which cater to mature and plus styles. I've never had this experience selling to Plato's and buying from them and won't be returning. Don't sell or buy here !

I'm sure there's a spit specific time I would say it's probably about 1 hour before they close so they have time to go through it but you can always call them to make sure
