We had the opportunity to talk to Mr. Luna. What a nice man with an incredible story steeped in Dallas history. They are temporarily offering tamales for sale for pickup and they are delicious. The full Luna torteria will open up again soon according to Mr. Luna.

Food no bueno. That's way they close there restaurant. The owner is rude. No customer service skills. The pandemic has weeded out many mediocre restaurants.

No, because they are an authentic Mexican food restaurant, and they have some of the best tasting tamales I've ever had in my life, their rice and beans are actually very good and I don't eat rice and beans and Mexican food restaurants often. The chips and salsa are the bomb, the staff is great I've never been disappointed with the way the staff conducts business. It's family owned and operated and I find that to be the best thing about the place. I love the new location it's perfect for their business. The prices are affordable and the food is great, you'll be missing out if u don't try it just once.
