This end of the park is a lovely little stretch on a hill that overlooks Lake Michigan. It is beautiful and windy. It was also crowded. Bayfront Park packs many activities into a small space. It is well kept and clean, but could use more parking. It is a good place for enjoying the water and sun and for spending time with friends.

Always a beautiful spot for breakfast to go from Roast & Toast, another 5 star stop, on Lake Street. Public restrooms, plenty of parking, and a decent choice as far as trails and paths to explore and take in the beauty that is The Waterfront.

Magnus Park has camping with a beach on the water.
If your rent or bring a bike you will find many more places to fish around the 8 miles of shoreline! The more adventurous types will find some beautiful places to throw a line!
