The haunted houses were nothing to write home about for sure.

Great experience! 5 haunted houses in one park and can't go wrong with the fast pass to skip the lines and experience them all in one night along with enjoying the pyro show included in the whole park. Plenty of different types of themes of horror along with plenty of locations for snacks, food, drinks, and alcohol

I wanna know why is it we can wear our Halloween costumes. You say it's for safety reasons but that makes no sense. You allow people to dress up for Renaissance why not Halloween?

I don't work there but I would guess because some bad apple in a mask did something bad in costume and it got blamed on the park. So now we can't dress up as guests so they know who is staff.
Good point about the Renaissance though.
Are you open during the 2020 Season?

We took our 10 year old and she loved it. There are kids of all ages out there, just depends on how well they take scares and there is a ton of people, which lightens the mood as well.
Is it handicap accessible

From the FAQ on the website.
Is Screams® Halloween Theme Park handicapped accessible?
Screams® Halloween Theme Park is generally handicapped accessible.
Not in 2019. We are only ever open on Halloween if it falls on a Friday or Saturday. We are open Fridays & Saturdays, September 27 - October 26 and look forward to seeing you!
There are no paved pathways within the park... And with the rain it's pretty much mud everywhere. I believe you can check in at the entrance and they may have some assistance for you. Another note is getting a wheelchair through the actual haunted sites may be bit difficult.
Yes, there has been kids that age around the park, but there will be many scary rides and house that are targeted towards an older audience and walking around screams itself there will be few thing that 7yrs girl might not be scared of, but if she still wants to go there are 3 haunted houses she can go in that she won't be too scared of and there are some game she might enjoy as well.
Its been a year since I've been there so I might not be up to date when it comes to whats up there but if they have the same stuff from last time i was there, then your daughter should have a lot off fun.
My granddaughter, worked there last year, she was 17. She loved it. She did get tired being there so late after school all day. But it is basically just two days a week, with some extra time for training. And it only lasts 6 or 7 weeks.
