Perfect inexpensive family outings and the food wasn't too bad but Fair theme priced. Fun attractions for all ages ,I had a 3 year old and when her and he mom's was on rides I rode the big one with my brother. The train ride circles the whole lake take that last lines are long.

I'm always gonna love Lakeside. It shined back in the days. It could use some fixing and improvements. It's dying and it's always will be home to me. Lakeside Forever.

It's is old and not all the rides are open and some of it seriously needs paint, but I love it. It's retro cool and has lots of trees and benches and picnic tables and baby strollers and happy children.
Yep the chipmunk will do ya wonders for back pain! Once you can stand up straight and move again after riding it, you'll forget all about any localized pain!!
How much are the wristbands need answer quick!!!!!!!!!

Revised Lakeside today, reminiscing the park from the 1950's when I visited as a child. Shocked and heart sick from the deplorable condition. Are there any historical grants/funding that can be tapped for preservation?

Sadly you are right is in real bad shape I wish they do something about it, I don't know if there is anything to help to preserve it.
Actually not Nicole. I am her mom. Anyway. When are you going to fix the lights and tower? They look absolutely horrible.
I would think that with all that has been done with the businesses on 44th and Harlen area you could afford the repairs.
Try Groupon and see many links that offer discounts. May need to go through their listings to see if Lakeside is offered for discounts. I have stumbled across some that no one ever knows about.
In 2019, gate admission was $3.50 for each person over 2 years old and you could buy 50¢ tickets to ride (1-6 tickets per ride, depending on the ride).
Alternatively, you could buy an unlimited ride pass at the gate (which included gate admission) for $17-27 for riders over 42" or $12-$19 for riders under 42". Price varied depending on the day of the week, with Saturday/Sunday on the higher end.
Even though their gate admission was free, children under 2 years still required either 50¢ tickets or an unlimited ride pass to ride.
Ok i have more questions

Why do you have a old farris wheel and what was it used for and why is it still there?
Naomi Castro | Nov 5, 2018
Colin Faber | Nov 5, 2018
Its just that, an old farris wheel, in historic photos of the area you can see how it once looked. The park simply kept it after it was decommissioned. Maybe someday they will restore it.
We are in town and hoped to bring our kids, and grandkids, to show them the fun we always knew! Will Lakeside be opening soon?

Lakeside is not sure if they are opening the park looks as well it's going to a lot for work,
The way I see the park I don't see it where it would be safe for public but I have heard the park is going to get some heavy work done to it many people who are going to lakeside since continue going
When will lakeside open it’s door again?

Is there a mirror maze here? I keep seeing comments but no pictures.

Yes it's called Crystal Palace Labyrinth House of Mirrors.
Hi is lakeside open today? If you guys are do we need masks and gloves?
Yes, they will give you a bracelet for admission and honor it when you come back. Or you can get your hand stamped when you walk out and it will allow you to come back in.
I don't think so. No senior discounts either. But I'm not 100% sure. The price for a wrist band is significantly cheaper on weekdays then weekend. But the weekend rate is still cheap compared to Eliches. I think it's 13.50 weekdays and 23.50 for Saturday and Sunday.
Everybody says service animals only but it's so hood you could probably get away with bringing whatever you want I bet nobody would say anything to you at all
Riddle me this; Who in their right mind thought it would be a good idea to attach a telephone pole to the braces of the ferris wheel? 🤔
P.S. When will that ferris wheel be opened again? :3
Michael Elkins | Nov 5, 2019
Dr.Thomas | Nov 5, 2019
The ferris wheel is open the abandon was will be closed as it is a land mark to the park.
I'm pretty sure it's because the adult rides are more fun at night than in the morning. Also, adults can stay up later than kids, so if the kids want a fun day at Lakeside they can go and not stay up past their bedtime.
Natalie Thompson (Natalie Lilly Travels) | Nov 5, 2018
I think if they did decide to fix it up it would make it more expensive and people would just go to eliches if they were charged more because eliches has more to offer. Lakeside is more for the young children. The kiddie park has great options for small children.... But i did visit this season on opening day and seems to be a new rolor coaster coming soon and some new Attractions. Oh and it is a little more pricier this season
