I can't thank the Suquamish tribe enough for their covid 19 vaccine administration, incredible building, wonderful view, warm and welcoming. A cultural experience and a health conscious community.

I find this place to be very spiritual and open my mind and Spirit and soul to the great-grandfather above. The people there I find them to be very open hearted and generous and helpful. I'm thankful for what they have done and they are doing to this day 4 Stone child Chief stick. So in the name of our great ancestors before us I thank them for watching over us and guiding us in the direction of which we go and positivity and an enlightenment. Thank you from the Snoqualmie Nation. And from Laverna Johnny Harrington/ Johnny Harrington

This recently completed museum of Suquamish culture and history made for a really interesting visit. Displays were specific and detailed with real insight into the lives of real people.

From the Suquamish Community Facebook page, posted by Tom Robb: "A memorial for my uncle Robert "Toby" Owen, a well known artist who lived in and around the Suquamish Reservation for about 40 years is scheduled for 1 pm Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Kiana Lodge at 14976 Ne Sandy Hook Rd. Poulsbo, WA. He will be laid to rest observing traditions of the Suquamish Tribe, who, although he was not a tribal member, welcomed him and was such a strong source of energy and peace for about the the last four decades of his life. As so many of you have commented saying you have paintings by and even of Toby, I would ask those planning to attend the memorial who have a piece of Toby's art to bring it with you, kind of a pot luck for the spirit. We can put those up around the room to be reminded of his gift to the world. (I know he often worked on huge canvasses, maybe bring the smaller paintings so we can fit more in.) Internment will be private."
