For me this Park is a good start for a long walk around the lake. And if you want to eat and see the view Emory's is a good restaurant for it. The walk around the lake is an adventure. With mosquitoes flying around in swarms. You may even walk and swallow some protein on your way. I always start and finish my walk at the park. I have even started my walk in dry weather and ended in heavy rain. People look at me funny during those times. Like I went to take a dip in the lake. Overall the Park is nice if you have kids and if you plan a picnic. It is a small park but it offers plenty for families.

Great place for a toddler! Love the fenced dock, large area, fun playground and nice places to sit for a picnic.

I have recently started coming to this park and I was lucky enough to come a week after the lake was stocked with fish so the fishing was great. The parking lot always had room to park and the bathrooms were very clean. The eagle family was flying from their nest to some of the surrounding trees. My pitcher isn't the best but you can see them closer if your at the park. My niece was able to do some fishing and she didn't do to bad.

This is a pretty small park, but there is also a huge field, a covered area, and it's right by Silver Lake. There is a 4 seater teeter totter which is big enough for adults (yes, I had my husband teeter with me and it was fun!), a smaller 2 seater, a nice play structure, and sphere merry go round that the only picture I took was when I was playing with filters, but you get the idea. There are 2 regular slides and one with rollers that is bumpy and fun for the kids. You can walk over to the lake and there are a few docks to walk out on. Usually you will see at least a couple ducks swimming around, and get to see ducklings during the right time of year. Just a reminder; ducks and geese equals duck poop in the field area, but it's not super gross. Overall, a small playground, but a lot of room to play and a lovely view of the lake. **edit** Added a couple pictures

Hauge Park is a great place to carry your children, take a walk with your spouse and just hang out to relax. My husband and I enjoy it with our grandson.
Not on this side!! Park across lake has beach and concession stand, bathrooms, showers. Here too is swimmers itch so shower right after getting in lake water. Duck poo in water!!!!
