I selected the International Used Truck Center to buy my very first truck from because after researching all the options available for purchasing a pre-owned rig I determined this would be the best way to go to minimize the risk of having a vehicle with substantial downtime. After all, they offer a 60 day guarantee on almost every vehicle they sell as their starting baseline...I took it a step further and purchased a one year/unlimited mileage warranty for further piece of mind to ensure minimal/no downtime while I try to recover from all of the substantial costs borne in capitalizing my new business. After securing a truck loan and then adding a substantial amount of my own money to those funds I purchased the vehicle only to find out that there were issues present with the vehicle that reasonably should have been known to the dealerships' maintenance team if they had done a reasonably competent job of inspecting the vehicle before releasing it to my driver. In fairness all but one of the issues appears to be not overly significant but all of them are ones that need to be corrected especially the one related to the vehicle's suspension, which as you know is critical for hauling safety and stability. My vehicle has been down for a week now for these issues that reasonably should have been corrected by now allowing me to get back up and earning money. I will keep you posted on how the process goes from here with another review on the service aspect.
