Nice and calm place to go and get a facial done.

Very, very poor customer service! Argumentative, elusive of policies and overall unprofessional management. When you ask for a copy of "paper work" on a wipe off laminated card for you to fill out with a dry erase marker, you are then told it is not policy to give a hard copy of your End of Membership Form. I was told a manager would get to me the next day. After leaving messages over a five - week period (meanwhile another withdraw from my bank) I was finally able to speak with a "manager". So called manager read her "copy" and repeated the employee who initially handled the non permanent record "no longer worked there'. Consequently there was no proof of the original documentation with correct dates. The constant instability of reception and therapist staff prompted my questions to end a five year membership. The Goodyear Spa gives a very, very poor example of what the Hand and Stone Spas represent. Buyer beware, you will lose your money at the Goodyear location.

My visit here was a surprise from my husband who is gone for the year for work. He sent me a message with the address and the time to be there. So I had no clue where I was going until I arrived. I specifically told that to the girls at the counter when I was filling out my info. Most of the massage was good. She focused on my back for the majority of the session and left much to be desired for the rest of my body. In addition she was crunching on some type of hard candy at one point during the session. After it was over, I went to the counter thinking I was just going to confirm that my husband added a tip and if he didn't I would just add it. I was going to schedule another session, but with someone else until they tried to sell me a membership. I explained that I didn't want one because I had previously stated this session was a gift. So the girl continued to try and sell me the membership. During the sales pitch she mentioned something in regards to needing to call her manager to waive some fee. I explained again that the session was a gift from my husband and I wasn't interested in anything else or adding anything on to the card that was on file. So she stated "well we can use your card." After what was supposed to be a relaxing gift I left filled with anxiety because she didn't understand No and made it seem like I was in trouble because I said No. I called back and cancelled the additional appointment that I made. I own 2 businesses and I personally think they should dig a little deeper into email marketing and creating a sales funnel and/or start utilizing retargetting ads on FB to drive customers back to their business because their face to face sales strategy needs some tweaking. And to add my 60 minute massage started at 9:55 and ended at 10:38. I initially thought my husband paid for a 45 minute massage but that wasn't the case.
