I am Dr. Ennis, the owner of the practice. I have treated a handful of cases over the past 8-10 years with moderate success. There is some good evidence showing acupuncture can lessen the severity, but not cure it. This has been my experience as well. See this study. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5771359/
Just as was previously mentioned by Ms. Pauley, the need for x-ray depends on the condition being treated, the chronicity of the problem, and whether they are medically necessary to best resolve the condition being treated. If needed, we have a new, state-of-the-art digital x-ray system on-site.
