On October 21, 2022 I had a colonoscopy performed at the Jefferson Hospital by Dr. Curtis Alloy. I am 59 years old and I will be 60 years old in November. Like many people, I put off having this procedure because I was afraid that I couldn’t handle drinking the 4000 ML of laxative and to go roughly 36 hours without eating. I thought that I would be very hungry and I have never gone very long without eating. To my surprise, drinking the laxative and going without eating solid foods and being on a liquid diet, was not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. I was able to eat green Jell-O and it helped a lot. I actually never felt all that hungry and when I did I kept in mind the hundreds of millions of people around the world who starve on a daily basis. Dr. Alloy and his staff were professional, helpful, and the procedure was performed without any problems. I had two small polyps removed and before I knew it I was waking up in the recovery room. I did not experience any pain or any bleeding once I had my first bowel movement after the procedure. I would like to thank the doctor and his staff for doing a fantastic job for me. I would also encourage everyone to have a colonoscopy if they have not already, and to not worry about feeling hungry or having to drink the laxative. Having routine colonoscopies can save your life and all the prep is worth it. I give The Jefferson Hospital and Dr. Alloy 5 stars.

I alway have good impression of Jefferson hospital until my mom need to go to emergency room in August. While my mom was waiting to be seen, we asked one of the nurse How long we have to wait, she answered “I don’t know” . Literally, there’s no one care about us, no one can tell us what’s next. Instead, we just sit there and wait. After more than 4 hours of waiting, my mom still not able to see any doctors. Thus, we decided to go home and see urgent care the next day cause it was very late at night. However, we received a bill today and it is about $1000!!! How is that possible? We waited for hours, didn’t see any doctor, didn’t get any treatment, but received a $1000 bill? I DON’T recommend go to this hospital.

IF YOUREE HAVING A LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCY DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This hospital is horrible. I am 19 I never leave reviews on hospitals but this is by far the worst hospital I’ve ever been too. I went there because I had issues breathing, constantly telling them “I CANT BREATHE” the security and everyone telling me to sit as I’m vividly struggling and gasping for air. So I left the hospital went to the Starbucks on the corner and begged them to call the police so they can transfer me to another hospital, they were on it but I began to faint and black out as I’m talking to them thank God for an amazing lady I wish I could remember her name but she grabbed me and a random guy help get me back inside the hospital. Than when the dumbasss nursing’s and security see me having to be lifted inside the hospital they started to check all my vitals and my heart to make sure I wasn’t dying. MY point is it SHOULDNT have took all that just to be seen by a DOCTOR. Clearly I was in distress.

I'm asking the same question I got 3 different answers about my appendix surgery, no beds no respect will be calling my. Lawyer tomorrow when I came in the following evening when they knew I had my meds with me then when I got admitted in the Er. I told them I had meds with me I was pushed on the bed by there police because they had no right to go threw my bag I was told I needed emergency surgery than they said the radiologist mis read the catscan. I was left in pain all night they had no beds so I was in the e.r all night and all day. The following morning I was basically tortured.im calling a lawyer . No nurse bell so every time I wanted a nurse I had to go to the desk the e.m.t or the e.r transporter would disrespect me. And threatened me. I didn't get none of my meds ,
