Mountain Gate has been a wonderful place to live over the past 3 years! The location is exceptional with the platte trail right behind us making it easy to get outside and enjoy the warm weather (or not whatever you’re into…it is Colorado after all). I cannot say enough great things about the staff either! Maintenance is always on point and the office staff is so welcoming and friendly and they have a great sense of humor so if you need a laugh just go to the office! Kindness matters and this place has it!

Misleading/shady business practices. Signed the lease in October, and provided proof of renter's insurance, as requested. Was not told the property company needed a new copy of proof of renter's insurance in February. Fined $25 for insurance non-compliance, even though the insurance was active. No phone call or anything. Just a note on the door saying to pay the fine. It's an ok place to live with nice neighbors. Maintenance also does a great job. But the property management company will nickel and dime you. Expect to pay more than the advertised rent. There's also a predatory car towing company, in the area. But fortunately haven't experienced that yet.

While they are nice apartments, the amount they tell you for rent is incorrect. They will add fees and charges for everything, and there is no way of opting out of it. So your rent will go up by at least $100 a month. Even after paying for parking, you will still have to trek to your apartment due to low parking availability, and even then get a chance of being towed (look for $250 at least extra for that). The maintenance staff does not really care about your needs, and will continue to do the bare minimum; My dryer would not dry and they kept blaming me. I had an electrician look at it and tell me the heating coil was bad, but they would not replace it. They are a scam, and are rude to you every turn of the way once they get your name on the dotted line. BEWARE.
