This studio & classes are so fun! All the instructors are so welcoming and warm and really meet you at your level. I never feel rushed or out of place. The studio is very dynamic and beautiful with a garage door that can open to provide fresh air. It’s so nice to connect with humans again as well👽lol keep up the hard work, SCT!

I’ve taken mostly beginner-level salsa and Lindy classes here. Classes are well-balanced between leads and follows, fairly relaxed, and lots of fun. Dancing here is a great way to unwind after work or school. Socials are extremely beginner-friendly and it’s a super welcoming community. I would highly recommend taking a four-week dance series.

The social dances are amazing and all the dancers there are so welcoming. The environment is something that you don't get anywhere else. Definitely recommend coming here for the social dances as they are a fun way to spend your nights.

This is a very nice dance studio with two levels. The instructors were great. The atmosphere is very nice.

Are there beginner Salsa/Bachata workshops at your studio?

Mariah Whiteman | Aug 13, 2022

There are! You can also attend the Friday night drop ins and maybe get a sense of which dance you'd like to start with! They have a tango class at 7pm, salsa at 8pm, bachata at 9, and zouk and kizomba are both at 9 I think. Check the website for sure for the drop in schedule. All drop ins are either beginner focus ( salsa/bachata) or beginner adjusted (zouk /kizomba)

Is there easy to park?

Shawn Hua | Aug 12, 2022
Julie Karpodines | Aug 13, 2022

There is a parking lot on the corner of 36th and Phinney, as well as by Fremont Studios on 35th - these are paid lots, charging either $5 and up for the afternoon or evening. There is also a lot of street parking on 35th and 36th which is unmetered.

No need to bring a partner. You'll dance with someone new every 5 minutes or so. In the beginner drop ins, most people will be new to dancing. In the intermediate drop ins, you're expected to have some experience.
