My brother and I went to Kemmerer to eat at the Scroungy Moose but he was backed up with orders so it was a 40 minute wait which we declined, we then tried to go to Rosie's pizza but they were closed and catering a private party, so we went to the Caribou Cafe and it was fantastic. My brother had a Patty Melt with fries and I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The service from this beautiful young woman with an incredible hairdo who was just stunning gave us multiple refills of our drinks and the other lady who brought the food was nice too. The food tasted great. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Great food! Excellent customer service. Serves a great diner style breakfast. We loved the fresh biscuits and the spicy Italian sausage!

Hands down, the best food and service I have ever had when visiting Kemmerer! A number of us visit at least twice a year with an older gentleman who is very picky about the quality of food and customer service. He can be critical and hard on restaurant staff. Caribou Cafe has always been his choice of restaurants available in Kemmerer, but this week, everyone at the table remarked that the Cafe has upped the ante. Service was excellent with an exceptionally gracious owner who put our gentleman at ease with care and humor. From the fried mushroom appetizer to salads, sandwiches, hamburgers and a full on Sunday dinner plate of meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, all our menu selections got rave reviews around the table. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, beautifully presented in a timely manner. Delicious! One of those great small town cafes with real hometown atmosphere and fine, American home style cooking!

Might be useful to ask THEM? They should have a telephone, old school, but not bad, that technique...
