This place has a sense of heritage for me. My great grandfather, who immigrated from Finland, made his livelihood here on a floating shop. He split his time between fishing and carpentery. My grandfather learned woodcrafting skills there which have been passed down three generations.

Love this place. The new owner Dale is fantastic and completely gone out of his way to make us feel welcome. The locals we have met have been very friendly.

Met with the new owner Dale and discussed mooring our boat at the marina. He gave a us a quick tour and we had a great talk about all of his plans for the marina. We were very happy and look forward to keeping our boat there for the summer.
