I would have rated this campground five stars but the road noise during the evening was enough of a distraction to lower my rating. It's alpine camping in Colorado at its best. The campground host was very helpful and the proximity to services in Gunnison was a plus.

Haven't stayed at many campgrounds but this, by far, was the coolest. The setting was absolutely beautiful! Bunch of nice smelling Ponderosa pines (or similar). The grounds were well maintained by the gentleman staying there for the Summer. No problems accessing water or restrooms. Great time!

My boyfriend and I love this campground. Current camphost is super on it with cleaning, the outhouses even smell nice! Close to the river, fishing is super accessible. My only complaint would be how close it is to the road and the sound of cars driving by is pretty loud. Otherwise, a great place to stay! Currently $18/night.

Beautiful, clean campground that is very well maintained. Beautiful views and so many places to explore. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable. Birds and deer galore. An amazing experience you won't want to miss.
