My late cousin spent some time here awhile back and it was one horrible experience thanks to the lack of staff they kept (especially at night). There was one really rude caregiver (young blonde girl with tatooed arms) that was constantly texting on her phone and did little work. The atmosphere was gloomy due to an odd, open layout of the dining, recreation, and conference areas spaced along the residents' rooms which created noise and no privacy. I noticed they weren't too keen on security either with leaving their main door unlocked during evenings. Awful place to say the least!

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible management. . Company doesn’t comply or follow proper policies when it comes to the facility itself. Constant drama and they hire anyone whether you have enough experience or not, residents don’t receive the proper care they deserve. at the end of the day all they care about is money. Please DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!

I had just moved my mother from her own home into mine after her major heart surgery. About a year later, I was thinking that someday she may need more care than I could offer as I work full time. I was driving through Clovis and saw this brand new community and went inside for a tour. As Cori guided me around, I was impressed with the bedrooms which can be decorated to reflect residents’ preferences, private bathrooms (so important for prevention of cross-contamination), and various communal living spaces for playing games, doing puzzles, watching TV or reading. The outdoor areas have wide, smooth walkways and sturdy yet comfortable outdoor seating areas. Oh, and I could smell a delicious meal being prepared in the homelike and immaculate kitchen area. Well, almost two years ago, I had to place my mother in a care facility as I could not meet her needs in my home. MC had an opening. Cori guided me through every step of the process. Everyone working there is kind, caring and professional in dealing with my mother and I. Like other reviewers mentioned, when I ask my mom if the staff is nice to her, (half jokingly because I know she would tell me if they were not) she immediately smiles, nods her head and says, “Oh, yes!” I know she is comfortable, can choose activities or not, has her privacy but also can be a part of a community (at least, once life gets back to “normal”). I am grateful for Magnolia Crossing and how the staff has cared for my mom. I highly recommend that, when the time comes for this kind of decision for your loved one, you consider Magnolia Crossing.
