This place is set up like a miniature DMV, except without all the bad things that come with going to DMV. When I was there I didn't have to wait in any lines. I received a packet to fill out, and I was just finishing it up when my name was called to go to a window. This interview part of the process went very smoothly. She was extremely kind and understanding. Even though I was missing some information from my previous employer, I was still issued benefits for a month as long as I got this information to them next week. Feel like I'm rambling. All I my want to say is 5** and I recommend.

Yes. Make sure you tell California you moved to Nevada.
Just go to the Nevada welfare office and they should give you a new EBT card
No
You do not have to wait and see a worker. You can just drop off your re-cert papers to the administrative staff at the front desk, BUT make SURE you tell them to give you "proof of receipt" when you hand it in so that you have proof of when and what you submitted. There have been NUMEROUS issues with documents being lost, misplaced, etc. There is also an after-hours drop box just outside most locations, but I would never recommend relying on that method unless you have no other option.
Sorry I dont know Ive moved back to California
You can call or go into the office
Anytime
You can call them and the will reset it for you
Yes
You have to call first and that might take awhile. But.. Then you can go to the office and they will make one in a minute with your total on it. Note: set up the ebt app on your phone it helps keep your total managed and reminds your where you shopped.
Phone
Limited contact opening. Issuing EBT cards and accepting applications. Telephonic interviews.
Hi Deb. You could probably come here to start. I don't know your situation, but I'm pretty sure they do and will know where to send you if you need to go elsewhere. This is by far the best social services office I have been to, the people are very helpful and friendly and work to help folks help themselves. Good luck.
No. π

No, government offices will not be open today.
Most likely, yes. My renewal got mishandled in the mail, and I was dropped. Went in to this office early in the morning w/ all my supporting docs and no appointment, and was out within an hour, completely sorted right. Filled out additional paperwork while waiting. This office is great, almost beyond belief. Good luck and God Bless!
U should call the office directly.

Depends how new; If you have 30 or 60 days of income verifications, that is best. If not something from your job verifying how much you get paid and how many hours per week ypu work.
Yes. They offer alot of services. Medicaid, snap and cash. It's a little process but you get the help you need quick. Make sure you get a letter from your parents confirming you stay there.
