I love el Marketon supermarket is expensive but you find the stuff 🙃 that you don't probably have in other places.

I was shopping here today around 5:30 PM. I had a terrible interaction with the young man stocking at the produce. There is a particular fruit that is from my country that Marketon sells during the summertime. I've been searching for it since June, and I finally found some after nearly two months. Unfortunately, I found only two bags of it. So I carried one bag to the young man at the bananas and asked kindly if there's more. He was on the heavier side with a black hat and on his cell phone. He interrupts me and says firmly, "No English." He barks at me that he doesn't speak English with an American accent? OK. Since he wanted to play the no English card, I held up the bag again and said, "Mas?" He looked totally shocked. I'm not Hispanic, but I know Spanish. I shop at Marketon because a lot of the things eaten in my country are found here. He tells me no very rudely. He doesn't check in the back. He doesn't tell me when to come back for it. I notice there's a woman standing behind me, so I left and stood nearby to listen. She asked for something, and he went to the back to check for her. I'll just shop somewhere else. It’s not the first time I’ve been treated like this, but it’s the LAST time I’ll be treated like this from this market.
