Nothing about my son’s haircut was symmetrical. The chick also scratched the hell out of his neck and he said it hurt. (He’s 8 and not a squirmer at all.) I did my best to fix it when we got home. Avoid at all cost.

Awesome place for kids' haircuts. I've taken my 2 boys there multiple times and we receive nothing but the best service. Probably the best feature is the online check-in...there's no guessing or hoping- you know when to go. My wife and daughter have also gone here for trims. Definitely a place I would recommend!

I have been a customer here for years, usually an average experience, and they can do what I ask: a simple man's haircut. Until this last time, I checked in online but unfortunately traffic caused more issues than usual so I was a little later than planned. No biggie right? Wrong. I got this Charlie fellow, spiky hair, only 1 of 2 "stylists" working. He was just finishing up with a older male customer chatting and extremely friendly with that customer. Then it was my turn, Charlie was downright rude, utterly silent, and mauling my head this way and that to use his clippers like a paint scraper on my head. Short brutal and gave the feeling like I was completely undesirable and an annoyance. There was another older man waiting and I got the impression that this other customer was one of Charlie's "favorites" who I had "jumped" in line and so I was being punished because Charlie now had to deal with me. I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Worst experience I've ever had anywhere getting a haircut.

I’d avoid Darcy all together if you go to the maple valley great clips. She talks the whole time but doesn’t listen to what your actually wanting I requested a simple shoulder cut with layers and she cut my hair to my chin and chopped it up horribly, then my husband tried explaining what he wanted but wouldn’t listen she claims she did exactly what he asked but there random long bits, and a chop shop of a job on the top of his hair and when you tell her your unhappy she gets defensive and rude. Not a good experience and I’d avoid her services until she gets some more training and actually learns to listen to her customers not just talk at them.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
