The pool was closed and being used for furniture storage. No mention of this on the website. The breakfast on Saturday of scrambled eggs and sausage was horrible at best. The French toast was the only thing other than the bagels and English muffins that were good. The breakfast on Sunday was much better. Next time I visit Roseau I will probably stay at the AmericInn.

Seemed like a nice place, great service checking in. Pool was out of service, we counted on that for the grandkids. Bathroom had black mold on the wall and ceiling, ceiling so rotted it was falling down in the corner above the tub/shower. No hand held shower for us elderly and disabled that can't stand, we brought our own bath stool. Cleaning gals came at 11 a.m., asked if they could loop back we weren't ready to leave that first day for the graduation until noon. They never did clean. We got our own towels at the desk, asked for a vacuumn so we could at least vac ourselves, said she didn't know where they keep them. Hu? Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Not happy we didn't get a credit both days for no pool.

We relocated here in October from Texas as my wife was taking a job in town. We were put up in this hotel with the hope of extending our stay (after 30 days) until we could find a permanent place to stay. Unbeknownst to us the hotels cater to hockey families some kinda of contract we keep getting told. I wasn’t aware they were taking up the entire hotel as we are truly a family in need and had no where else to turn. We paid out of pocket weekly for our room and just felt very disrespected and I guess the owner and general manager felt the same way. The house keeping staff was rude and most hotels have a Covid-19 protocol in place that they only clean if needed especially if you were staying weekly. A county agency reached out to them on our behalf just to see if we could get a couple of nights there, and I received a call a few minutes later stating the room was taken. Funny how when I looked up the hotel through various travel sites I saw tons of availability. I’m not sure what the deal is however we enjoyed the front desk staff etc, just still not sure why a family who needed one room and was paying was turned away.

Nice hotel with pool & hot tub. There's room windows that really open. Microwaves & small fridges in the rooms. A couple things... The linens reek of bleach. The matress was tired/lumpy. When the guests are staying 2 nights & request fresh towels the staff should not question Why? What did you do with your current towels? You're not asking for a total room cleaning JUST fresh towels.
