I am going to be starting at Peking University in Beijing this fall semester as a Yenching Scholar, and I originally had no hope that I would be able to make it in person to China due to travel restrictions. However, when we first heard that there may be a change in government policy, Eric and the Oasis team immediately began preparing my documents with the Chinese embassy. As a result, the moment the official policy change (opening X visa applications for students) was announced, Oasis submitted my documents and I had my visa in hand four business days later. I believe Oasis made me one of the first students (if not the first student) to get an X visa from the DC Embassy since the embassy announced its policy change two weeks ago. Additionally, I'll note that the Oasis team is extremely professional and meticulous. One day when I was in their office, a new postman was delivering mail, and Eric asked the deliveryman what his name was. When I asked why, Eric responded that he likes to make sure he has someone he can contact at the mail carriers in case there is ever an issue with the delivery of sensitive documents.
