I buy x-cel feeds from a carrier down in Oregon. After I'm done with the several bags I bought I won't be buying anymore. The beet pulp has a bunch of corn in it, along with the periodic grain or pea. I have a horse with metabolic issues that has to be on a very strict diet so I spend a lot of time picking every contaminant out. Definitely not worth saving a couple of bucks. I'm also not super impressed with the Alfalfa pellets, dull color and not much scent. Too bad, I rather support a local business over Standlee, but the quality just isn't there!

Great for the farmer, who wants traditional feed and supplements for livestock. Not alot of non gmo or organic feed choices, this is not their niche. They do larger bulk sales and large overseas market, but a smaller farmer is welcome to stop by and pick up feed too.

We cannot make the rolled corn any other size.
2000 pounds is 40 of their 50 pound bags. They do have some types of feed in 80 pound bags and they do have other larger quantity options available. Depending on your set up. 80 pound bags are usually cheaper per pound thn 50 pound bags of the same feed.
The store is not closed. They sell their feed in 50 or 80lb bags.
