The hotel has changed a lot over the last few years… still wont bring food to your room, when you go down to get your food. the food comes in plastic containers,. They have started conserving water to the point that I had trouble. Washing the toothpaste out of my mouth. The bathtub was stuck on shower so no baths. The hot water at the kitchen sink didn’t work. The coffe maker was molded. And, the heat didn’t work in either system… it was 58 degrees in the room all night !! For the price that we paid I expected more, there are cheaper hotels, cleaner & with more amenities. I really did like the hotel but it has really changed.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The room was clean and comfortable and the bedding was very cozy. I’ll definitely be back!

Checking in, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We got into our room immediately and discovered a dark and dingy room. The rooms are old and need attention. Housekeeping isn’t interested in doing any detail work on the rooms either, just surface cleaning. Months of dust had accumulated on any surface that was hard to get too. A thick layer of dust had coated the base of the floor lamp next to my bed. The side table next to a chair hadn’t been wiped down in a very long time and personal remnants from other guest were still visible on the floor. Even a layer of grey dust can be seen all around the base boards of the room. It was even noticeable in the halls, around the elevators, bar area and the public restrooms. We were told upon checking in that housekeeping no longer attends to our room during the stay. If we needed towels or any supplies we could get them at the front desk…which we had to do because we were staying for 5 days. What keep me from checking out of the hotel was the fact that all the attention to the room was focused on the bedding. Thank goodness!! The sheets and blankets were clean, spotless and comfortable. Plus we had a beautiful view, but only when we struggled getting the sliding door open. Service at the Grill was very slow. The bar and main restaurant was lovely and delicious. For the price they are charging and the title they carry as the “best” hotel in Branson, they didn’t live up to their standards. I travel a lot, stayed at some amazing hotels and had bigger expectations of the Chateau. It felt as if I had checked in to a Holiday Inn. Unless they make some serious changes to the rooms and their service, I won’t be back!

Actually have not finished my stay even but we are 2 days into a 7 night stay and thinking about letting them keep my money and book somewhere else for the rest of my stay. I have two kids that the reason we picked here is they claimed to have the pool water at 83 degrees. This pool is freezing cold and not swimmable. After talking to manager in charge of pool they basically tell me the pool is 83 degrees and nothing they can do so I have to spend thousands of dollars for a fancy hotel for my family and tell my kids to freeze or don’t swim very disappointed in the property and the lack of care it has for problems with the guest.

No, but they have rooms with 2 rooms in them
Not in the majority. We had a king size lake view and had to pay $25/night. I'd definitely request it be cool by your arrival time.
I stayed in Level 7 and I know there are like 2 or 3 more levels above, but I can't tell u for sure.
Yes they have an indoor pool, that even have a jacuzzi, a little shower and a bathroom in the same area.
Morning, Lain, I do not have the measurements, however two average size individuals can fit in it. Hope that helps -
The road leading to the Chateau runs across the top of the dam. The Chateau itself sits atop a promontory overlooking the dam and the lake.
Please contact Nathan Wood, Director of Sales at 417-243-1723. He will be able to answer all your questions. Thank you-
I don't think there is
You would need to go across the highway to state park, it's not a picnic type hotel, more suit and tie
They have a lot of option and even a 20 minute facial.
No, rooms are oudated and spa is in disrepair with an inexperienced, ill-equiped manager. Restraunt was very nice with delicious food. Valet/bellhop very kind, check-in and Check-out staff hit me with additional and hidden charges in ADDITION to prepaid reservations. Deceptive buisness model. For a Weekend to Remeber try Ritz-Carlton in St.Louis. They are a bit more pricey upfront but worth twice the money. Reconnect package is exceptional with fresh fruit, chocolate strawberries, champagne, all inclusive. Spa is phenominal and well staffed. Go to Ritz-Carlton St. Louis, trust me.
It's the White River. Which was dammed back in the early 1960's. The three lakes in it are Table Rock, Taneycomo and Bull Shoals. BTW that's Branson.
If you have a fair reason for that and were not informed on that part of the agreement, you may consider stopping payment from the payment side. Unfair for not having no disclosure nor way by which to have services rendered. If rescheduling then you may ask for the wavier of the fee since you are going to be using them. I would like to note that this has many unknown variables so I don't want to say do any of that unless you feel like you have reasonable justification without a clearly explained cancelation agreement.
Combined shower n tub.
Property is in the process of creating them. Later this week the first scene will be displayed.
Yes, and need be small pet...
Yes they do! Ask registration for details on this policy!
I believe they have packages where breakfast is included BUT it doesn't come with the price. I highly recommend their Sunday champagne brunch. Expensive but worth it. Cut back on other meals and make rhis your splurge.
