Couldnt beat the price. Gentleman in the lobby was very nice and welcoming. I was able to park directly in front of my room. Open the door with a real key, and it's nostalgic. Wood panel walls and a peanut color bath tub. Very well maintained and clean. Water was hot and I slept like a baby. I'll brag this place any chance I get.

My parents and I needed a place to stay during our annual trip from Ohio to Wisconsin for the family reunion. This place was a great find! It had lots of amenities, great management, and was cleaner than all of the national hotel chains that we stayed at during our 7-day trip. We also loved the pizza from Frankie's next door. Nice meeting Brian and his Mom... see you next year!

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Just one issue about the smoke. People are not allowed to smoking in the room. So people would stand outside the door and smoke. This meaning that I need to cross the smoking area between my room and my car. Maybe make a smoking area and far away from rooms would be better. I don't smoke and I don't like it.

Everything was great. Great rate, Great value, Friendly Staff, Convenient to Amenities. I used live in Hayward, and loved it here. I come back to visit often, and this is the first time I've stayed at Aspen. This is the one of the best places to stay, and by far the best value. It's clean, has refrigerator, microwave, cable TV, free wifi, free coffee and pastries in the office. You can pay more to stay in one of the other Hotel/Motels here, but you won't find a better value. On return trips, this is the first place I'll check for a reservation.
