The best apartment I've ever lived in. I've been living here for six months and I have pretty much no complaints. Being so close to the lightrail is a win and a loss: extremely useful if you take it, but having the stop be the view outside of your window can make you see some sights. There are no noise issues with the train being so close to the apartment, probably because it is electric. The management is great, especially Rachel, who is extremely nice and will make an effort to get to know you. The maintenance guys are phenomenal. As long as you don't file it at the end of the day, your service request will likely be resolved on the same day you filed it. Rent is pretty expensive, especially when combined with utilities (you will pay for internet and power independently with Xcel or Xfinity instead of a bundled monthly fee), but most places are quite expensive, so I don't even know if that's something you can complain about anymore. The carpets and floors are cleaned at least three times a week -- even in the winter, they don't get nasty from the salt from people's shoes. I seriously recommend this apartment for fellow students as well, once you get on the lightrail, it's only about a 10 minute ride to the U of M's campus. Many people who live here are very nice and will say hello to you as you walk by. It does feel like a community. The gym is quite nice, too. Equipment is mostly cardio stuff but I imagine that is standard for apartment gyms. Pros: Excellent management, services requests almost always fixed in the same day, amenities, sense of community Cons: Location (not a lot nearby), price

I can't say enough good things about Rachel! We moved here so last minute due to a relocation and she was grace personified. When we couldn't get furniture rented asap to have something in the apartment, she actually gave us her own table and chairs and sofa that she said she didn't need. She dropped by with toliet paper night one, then went on to meet me at the garage door when my key wouldn't work (with my baby in the car) and seriously countless other examples like that. She's been a blessing of a human to us! It's been awhile since I lived in a large apartment complex and she's made the whole process really lovely, like we already have a friend looking out for us. Our time here should be short as we're househunting but I'm grateful I ended up with Rachel's help the whole way through. The other thing I like about this complex is how quickly maintenance requests are responded to. It's been same day every time I file one, like my dishwasher acting up, or the garbage disposal, etc.

Living here has been a wonderful experience. The units are beautiful and have plenty of built in storage. The amenities are great and of high quality. Most importantly the staff is extremely responsive and kind. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. The building has a great community feel and all of the tenants (fury and human) are easy to get along with! An easy light-rail ride to campus or either of the downtowns.
