Great place to see the blue heron rookery. Easy parking.

You may spot an adorable little water sausage resting on the docks, don't forget to keep your distance and especially keep any dogs on leash and away from them! Most injuries and disease transmission to harbor seal pups comes as a result of contact with people's dogs...and remember they are protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act, so it is very illegal to get near or touch them, and you may also inadvertently scare its mama away; harbor seal mamas are notoriously skittish about crowds and noise/activity, and may not return to the pup if she gets spooked. Keep your distance and enjoy the sight of herons, seals, and other wonders of our animal world while you launch your boat!

A good place to get away for a while. People are keeping their distance as are the birds and dogs. Great photo opportunities and some art to see. Star taken away because of the $3 parking is impossible to buy at the machine (unless we missed something.) Recommendation: park or walk south of the boat launch.

Place was amazing view especially since it's by the beach came here 3x in one week to chill out. I got some amazing pictures while I was here too definitely a must visit and so worth traffic and parking for the leery people.
