Do not go to this emergency room if you have a child needing to be seen!! They sent my five week old baby home only on Tylenol when she presented with a 101.5° fever. Dr. Francisco Jeronimo Ramirez acted super annoyed that I had come in to be seen, despite me telling him that was my instruction from my pediatrician. His response was “well of course she has a fever, she has a virus!” He did not offer to check bloodwork or x-rays when he was told my baby was positive for RSV. He asked how my baby was feeding then turned away and left the room without even hearing my answer. The nurses, though nice, kept saying “Oh I have never had to treat a baby before!” They tried to suction her nose and throat out but seemed really uncomfortable doing it and didn’t try very hard to get out all of the mucus. When it came time to leave, I asked for the Tylenol dose since that was my instructions to give Tylenol every 6 to 8 hours. The nurse performing the discharge told me she couldn’t get me the dose but gave me how many milligrams was supposed to be given. Luckily I have a medical background and was able to figure out how much to give, but the average parent would not have been able to do this! My baby continue to decline until I took her in to Dayton children’s where she had to be hospitalized. When I called to let patient relations know, Karen kept cutting me off and would not let me finish telling my experience to her. 100% would not recommend going here especially if you have a young child. Worth the drive to Dayton Children’s as I feel that if my baby had been treated with more than just Tylenol, she wouldn’t be hospitalized at this current moment. 1/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Excellent experience 2 days ago at the Sycamore Hospital ER Dept and in the Observation unit at this Miamisburg hospital. I have zero complaints! All the appropriate diagnostic tests were completed in one day relating to the condition that caused me to check into the ER. ALL the staff, nurses and diagnostic technicians I encountered, as well as the ER physician and the Hospitalist physician while I was in the Observation unit, were extremely knowledgeable, polite, friendly, AND prompt as they carried out my exams and the diagnostic procedures that the physician ordered for my situation. All my questions were answered along the way. I highly recommend this facility for any emergency situation.

No
Probably
I think they take all insurance but I think you can also ask about hcap, which is a program for those with limited funds
Fine
Sycamore does mammograms. I don't think there is a pain clinic. I don't know about the physicians offices there.
Yes, it's called Kettering Breast Evaluation Center - 2nd floor
If you are looking for a new family Dr, check out www.Ketteringphysiciannetwork.com. if you are looking for drop-in care check out one of the urgent cares in the area.
Go in main entrance. Go left past coffee shop. Then go right to the registration desk.
Depends on severity and room availability.
They have always been part of Kettering. Sycamore opened up in 1978
I'm pretty sure that would be a no, unless it's a service dog.
Their hours are 6 am until 6 PM for blood work
Yes
I believe bus 60 goes near it
