The store is big but somehow always crowded. The womens jeans are not sorted by size. I have up looking through them. Not the best quality items but it’s fair. Some of the collectibles but not all are a bit high priced. Overall I still go here but it’s hit and miss. Some employees are very strange, some are extremely nice. Worth visiting if you know what your looking for, have time to deal with the other shoppers, and are not looking for womens jeans.

I have shopped at 3 different Deseret Industries and it’s hands down my favorite thrift store! The prices are choice and truly reflect what thrift prices should be. They have quality items, the store is clean, organized, and the layout is easy to navigate. Customer service is wonderful as well! I’m so grateful to live so close!

This place is clean, well organized, great variety, and they have public restrooms. The staff are very helpful and super friendly. The best thing about this place is that they have reasonable price for second hand items. My elderly mother loves thrift shops but Goodwill prices are ridiculous, and only increased after covid closures. She can no longer afford Goodwill prices, and frankly its often less expensive to buy new than at Goodwill. At Deseret my mother lit up. Their restrooms were open, she could afford their prices and she enjoyed chatting with the staff.

New Thrift store in Puyallup. Opened October 2021. Nice clean well organized store with new merchandise being put out on a regular basis. Very good prices across the board. The store has these very thoughtful benches set up for testing electronics and appliances. Drive through donation station although the hours for donations are slightly different than store hours so check before you go. Per all Deseret Industries Thrift Stores they are closed on Sundays.

Yes we accept office desk chairs in good or excellent condition. But the interpretation of the quality of the items is subject to the worker accepting the donation at the time. We also recycle all electronics.
It's easy to drop off... just head to the left side of the building and head toward the back. Someone will help you unload it. We have donated furniture a couple times.

There is a new location on 160th/Meridian in South Hill.
If the recliner is working we can accept it, unfortunately the shed we can not.

They don't accept any mattress
The new store will opening on October 21st 2021. This store will be closing October 9th 2021.
Add to that they only closed for two or three months last year and all the people that they helped was able to continue to work even though they were closed to the public also since most items are donated goods they ask you to wash it if that store has no dry cleaning or washing and drying equipment and even though everything that comes out to the sells floor is sanitized the tell you to limit the exposure to the furniture just in case
Currently, due to Covid, you have to make an appt to donate. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
They have cheap prices already, you may have to go in and ask about the 15% discount.
