I went with a friend who is a member as a guest and had to pay $23. I guess that's OK but seems like a lot to spend a couple hours. I also went to Paul Bunyan shooting range with my brother as a guest. I didn't have to pay anything

$22/person without membership. Ive been going here for a few years. The check-in staff are polite, and the range officers are knowledgeable, stern, but fair. The rifle range is about 25yd 52yd 102yd 190yd, allows shotgun slugs but no pellets, also "No pistols beyond this point". The pistol range is 7yd. No rapid fire. Welcoming to new enthusiasts just please know your gun safety first please thanks, act right, and make sure to show up with your weapons in a zipper bag, holster, or case. Keep your finger off that trigger😉 "For if freedom is to survive and prosper, it will require the sacrifice, the effort, and thoughtful attention of every citizen" -John Kennedy

This is where my husband and I learned to shoot and love it. I've read a number of posts about the staff being rude, but this was not at all our experience. First, the staff doesn't mess around when it comes to safety, and I'm glad for that. Many folks simply move too fast and forget basic safe firearm handling and range safety, but the staff is quick to catch it. Second, we basically got free firearm training by simply asking for help and coming when it wasn't busy. Within 2 months, we decided to join as members. Third, we've met many cool folks at the range since then, and even tried many other pistols-ultimately getting some of the same ones ourselves. Ron, Bob, Jerrick, Ed, and dear Lamar plus Angela and Debbie are all awesome, as are the wonderfully gruff gents at the members range whose names escape me, and Curt who lives on site, too. I am a proud member, and have only great things to say about TSC!

My 3 son's and I have been shooting muzzle loaders for a few years now. I have been trying to get a good group together to try and open more areas for us to hunt in. Also, to have more anterless hunting areas on the west side.
It is possible that the facility is concerned about safety of children on the property, typically gun ranges don't want kids younger than 12 shooting guns because of liability and insurance requirements.
Not sure what you are asking in regards to - but for pistol age 12 is recommended, age 5 for rifle. For shotgun we recommend age 10. However regardless of age they must be able to impact the berm. In other words no wild shots. However anyone under 21 must be accompanied by someone over 21 if they are coming out to shoot pistol. Hope that helps!
Yes we are!
No a case is not required. In that event it’s muzzle up, no magazine or cartridge loaded. And yes, this is the office personal responding. Hope to see you soon!
He is welcome, no problem!
Age 21

Yes you can - just give us a call. 253-537-6151
No, you can just go to the front counter and pay for a day pass. There are ranges that you have to be a member to use but you can use the pistol range and rifle range with a day pass.
Yes they should post them on the Tacoma Archery Facebook page.
This is their website and at the top it has rules for the ranges. http://tacomassportsmensclub.com/rifle--pistol-ranges.html
Yes we have them. Not to rent, just ask and you can borrow one! Robert, not sure why you answered no.
$20 for access to both pistol and rifle. Half for access to one or the other.
