My first kayak experience! Wow... its so much easier than a canoe! I may never go back to a canoe! Let morgans do the heavy lifting and let them shuttle you. Its so much easier than lugging your own boat.

This is a great location, serene river site and just a great all around place. Check in was easy and the driver back to the Livery was friendly. I would love to give it 5 stars, but I can't. We had two kayaks... The single was fine. Our double seemed good at first. However half way through we were taking on considerably water, even though we were only at half to listed weight. We pulled ashore and turned it over the get rid of water and we could tell that it was filled with water inside... There must have been some hole. By the end, we were extremely tippy and in the last small rapid area, both of us tipped in the drink. We ended up walking the kayak to the endpoint the last 300 yards or so. What got me disappointed was that the staff didn't care, pull that one aside to check it out a r anything, even after we explained what happened. We have our own kayaks at home so we aren't newbies, but they didn't care and I am sure someone else will experience the same issue. So this could well be a 5 star place, but that experience limits me from giving it that much. We may still consider going back and getting single kayaks in the future, since our single kayaker had a great time.

Yes. Morgan's will shuttle private canoe's for a small fee.
Morgans Outdoor Adventure will be open May 1st weather and water permitting. Morgan’s Riverside will be opening April 1st for camping, weather and water levels permitting. See you on the river!

You should call. Transporting your own is still $10. If you do the 12 or 18 you have to be at the location early. They should be opening the 12 mile this weekend the 18 later because they have to go up river and clear jams.
