Don't use certified mail. Recently sent some business documents across town by certified mail and they got stuck at a sorting facility for two and a half weeks! Contacted the postal service to investigate the problem and they were good to deal with and said they've been having problems with certified mail. People at the Milford post office counter are okay but service is slow. My regular postal carrier is friendly and only occasionally gives us other people's mail.

I was told by the Office of Jury Commission for Clermont county, that the mail I received from them in error, should be marked "undeliverable". Would this insure that this piece of mail would be returned to sender?

I'm not sure but I know you can mark mail "return to sender".
