My son was having a tantrum and the staff was kind and curtious. They had exactly what I was looking for and it was clean and neat. I felt like I could actually spend time here.

All new location folks! I'm excited! I've always liked Willis music, even when it was in the mall and everybody hated on it for being small, & nobody really remembered that it was there, tucked away, in the back of the mall. It's just nice to have a music shop around period. Anyway, I had accidentally stumbled across their new location, right next to jungle Jim's, in Eastgate, and I gotta say, they have a much greater selection and a larger staff. The store is very nice and they definitely have something for any budget. I went to a music store the other day, that was the size of Walmart, and honestly, I was not all that impressed. A lot of places carry way too many Fender, and/or Gibson products, and therefore they don't have room for many other brands. But Willis has a knowledgeable staff that can get you strapped into your next favorite guitar, no matter your playing experience, or lack of musical knowledge, and they don't follow you around, pressuring you. I sat down in the acoustic room and played on several amazing instruments, & the Willis employee offered to get me an amp or anything I needed, and a brief description of some of the new guitars that they had just gotten in, and he walked out of the room, also adding that he is right around the corner if I need him. They also have some special deals and holiday layaway stuff going on. My last review of Willis wasn't really as enthusiastic as this one, well anyway, Keep up the hard work, Willis music! We musicians appreciate you!

Sad that it left Eastgste Mall but happy the business is still going strong. My son has purchased two guitars from Willis Music. Each purchase was a pleasant experience.

I went to Willis to get a Hercules 2 guitar stand. Thankfully they had a three guitar version as a floor model which I bought. While there, I asked about looper pedals, explaining my skill level is probably advanced beginner so looking at entry level loopers. He talked me through the options, giving number 1, 2 and 3 recommendations then checked inventory. While they didn't have the item I plan to get, they gave me a wealth of information. Finally, I spent some time in the guitar room playing a Sigma and a Martin (boy did I have to fight the urge 😉). While I don't consider myself very good, the sales rep was very encouraging regarding my playing. Long story short. When I need something music related, Willis will be one of my first stops.
