Definitely the go to spot. The ladies that helped me today went above and beyond to help me get a replacement key as I had accidentally broke my key in half and lost it in the ignition. I got the key out the ignition and brought it over to Mr. Key. They were able to match it, cut and shape it and provided me with a makeshift of the original key as a "spare" for future use and an entirely new key. They told me the brief instructions on how to program the key myself. I got home, inserted the old key and the car started right up(no lock light came on) I removed it and put the new key in and the car turned over with only a minor not staying on the first time but it was in the cold for a few days without being started up and it's a lemon so I wasn't shocked. Second time I turned the key over the car turned on, stayed on, and I was able to go back to my errands and daily routine. The best part about this all, was the price! Dealership wanted $150 plus I'd have to tow the car there and if the key is in ignition it's an ADDITIONAL $159 to fix that. Other locksmiths wanted over $180 to come out to give me a replacement and wouldn't even be able to assist with taking out the broken key in the ignition. Mr. Key? They gave me the replacement key plus makeshift spare for $35 flat out. So between my Uber ride there and back ($20) and the key ($35) I gotta say $55 in total is much better than the other options I had. Not to mention it only took them about 7-10 minutes to make the key. I was in and out the store within 15 minutes tops. So all in all I definitely recommend you give them a call and explain your issue with them they may know a guy who knows a guy or they may be able to help you out. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Exceptional service.
