All the food except the salad was good. My salad had what appeared to be the bottom of the bag of croutons. Just a big pile of crumbs under the croutons. The onion was also not peeled properly I took a party of 11 to celebrate my wife’s and a grandson’s birthdays. First I was told they could not take a party of that size and turned to walk away I had to stop the person and try to negotiate to be seated at 2 tables. After 10 minutes of negotiations including getting the manager started involved I was told ok but that the wait would not be the current 20 minutes, instead it would be 45 min. I was fine with the wait and understood the kitchen staff shortage issue. What I did not understand was the attitude of being more than happy to turn me and my party away. I saw at least 10 couples and families turned away in similar fashion while we waited Once seated the staff was good and took care of us even though it was clear they were understaffed Other than the negotiation to be seated and the salad we had a good meal

The food was delicious for a good price and good serving size, now what i dislike about the restaurant is the check in waiting time for 30 min when lots of tables are empty inside! When I'm hungry and you have tables i wanna get seated to order and start eating within 20 min of walking in the door, wait 30 min to get seated and another 45 to get served, no thanks, i also did a reservation just to get called to be told they don't work with reservations you have to walk in check in and wait.

There was a 90 minute wait and when we were sat at a table the service was on the slower side. I believe they may have been short staffed, so I won't fault our waitress for that experience. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I rated four stars due to the condition of the floors, they were covered in table scraps and papers, including crab claws, which detracted a bit from the atmosphere. The food came out hot and was delicious.

My mom and I had dinner here. The menu is very limited for now, but had choices we enjoyed. The portions are generous and everything was good. I had grilled shrimp and mom had grilled trout. The cheddar biscuits are melt-in-your-mouth yummy. Our server was also very good. We would recommend.

Yes, a great server sends you home with a few... They are also available in baking goods area, to bake in your own kitchen.
