I watched Clive’s video after losing my aunt to COVID. His quotes on never saying no and how he rose to the challenge by relying on faith changed my life. I am now working as a funeral home assistant because I saw Clive and my brain just went “funeral directors are your people, you gotta find a way to get with your people and serve your community.” I am going to mortuary school and it is because of the profound impact Clive Anderson had on my life and my grief journey in the aftermath of COVID. OMG! Where do I start? My family and I lost my brother right before his birthday and it was very difficult to even begin to plan laying him to rest. We wanted to put him away the way that he deserved. We tried 2 other places before coming to pelham funeral home. We went on a Sunday (mind you they are closed on sunday) we rung the bell a few times and were about leave and Clive (the owner) shows up. He could have said sorry we closed but instead he invited us in and when we walked in we knew this was the place we wanted. I have never had to plan a funeral and I was so overwhelmed that it was my very dear brother but Clive made it so easy. He assured us we were in great hands and he kept his word. He was nothing short of amazing. The entire service was great, it was set up beautifully and I loved that we had the whole place to ourselves. I would recommend them to everyone. Clive made us feel like family and not a dollar bill. Thank you so much you are much appreciated!!!
