The dark garden mulch (I think they called it) is very black) does not smell like .. uh, fertilizer. It looks great, seems to be holding back the weeds (two weeks, now), and is comparable in price to similar but lesser products elsewhere.

Questions & Answers

Hi. Do you have the black fine bark?

I work as a laborer for the company ( my job title is bark blower technician/laborer) and yes, most the satellite yards do carry a dark fine bark. If u want a more thicker, dark bark, then yes go with what Jeremy has mentioned. Your best bet would be to go online to Pacifictopsoils.com, search for the yard that's closest to u, and see what they can do for you. Any of the people that you get a hold of will be able to help you, or direct you to someone who can help you with all your bark necessities!!

We carry two versions of 5/8" crushed rock at the Woodinville Yard. The first is 5/8" Minus and it contains fines that makes it good for compaction, picked up this is $48 per cubic yard. The second product is 5/8" clear crushed, this product does not contain fines. It will still slightly compact but is a bit more decorative than the product containing fines. This runs $65 per cubic yard picked up. The Woodinville location is open 7 days a week.
