It's a beautiful cemetery

Horrible. Cold. Insensitive. Disrespectful. My mom passed away April 13th and had her gravesite next to my dad. I had recently lost my brother also, who thank God is not buried there. My parents are buried at Elmlawn Memorial Park, 3939 Delaware Avenue, Kenmore, NY 14217. I went to make arrangements for her burial (of course I am grieving), and this Andrea person tries to sell me a grave. I told her that I am already pre-planned at another cemetery. She would not give up on the sales pitch. Cold. Then on my mom's birthday, April 20th, I receive a mailing and a "personal handwritten note" from Andrea, explaining there is now a "special sale" going on with low, low, financing on gravesites with no money down. Also included was more sales paraphernalia, and a map highlighting where my parents are buried, and the closest gravesite available that I could purchase. Disrespectful, especially when I already told her I am pre-planned elsewhere. On the day of my mom's burial, I stopped at the office and asked for Mr. Austin, who is the president. He went to lunch. I waited in my car for him. I spoke with him, and he did not see the problem. SERIOUSLY? I told him I expect a written letter of apology, which I never got. They also price gouged me on the opening of the grave! HORRIBLE!!

Park is open 8am to dusk daily as per their website - hours listed are for the office only. Friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful grounds.

This cemetery is very well kept. It has a wide variety of areas for different types if people both for babies , children, and adults. Services cover all types associated with a cemetery. I've used them for my in-laws burials and everything went fantastic. They have a wide amount of space for future growth. I consider them one of the better ones in the Buffalo are A.
