This is the very epitome of independent bookstore. Everything is perfect — the smell of books, commentaries by staff, large table in the middle for people to sit and read… I could easily spend hours browsing through books and find a new gem that I otherwise wouldn’t have come across via its unique curations of books. I wish I could live nearby this bookstore; I will be a happy soul if I could :)

Attended a book signing event in their reading room. It was really fun and interesting. I wish I had time to check out the rest of the bookstore but it looks really nice. They only have one working bathroom right now and the line was 5-6 people long when I checked. Overall a good experience though!

I was visiting Seattle last spring and I fell in love instantly with this independent bookstore! It is warm, cozy, and ‘personal’ bookstore. I can spend hours wandering around to discover books here. I personally liked the review tags by the staffs, smart idea and helpful. They also highlights local/northwest authors which is very cool. All in all, it got everything I dream on a bookstore!

Super beautiful book store! You can definitely find anything here!!! I didn’t buy anything but the aesthetics is super pleasing and if I ever come back I would definitely buy something. Super cute super touristy.

Probably. Calling ahead for something that specific would be advised. Regardless they can probably order whatever you are looking for.
Do I have a mail order catalog? Or are you asking for one from the store?
Yeah, they've got just about any kind of book series you could think of.
They have an extensive magazine display, though Bulldog News in the U District had a far broader selection.
No, its smaller than most Barnes & Nobles. BUT I think Elliott Bay's selection is more diverse by far.
Yes they ship internationally! Give them a call for a shipping quote
At night parking is a challenge; during the day not horrible.
Limited capacity, 30 minute visits, hand sanitizer provided at the entrance
No
Pro, as far as I know.
Hi Carol I used the phone icon on the Google Maps page to call the store directly, Yes indeed they do have the New York Times. Happy Winter Solstice ..also great Cake and Coffee too.
The hours are literally right here on Google, James. Open your eyes my dude.
Or try Third Place Books in Lake Forrest Park.
I would think so, it has many different sections of books.
This bookstore predominantly carries new books but has a small used section upstairs.
Paid street parking (parallel)
And I set a destination on this phone
They definitely love animals, they often post photos of visitors pets on their Twitter.
