A wonderful place to spend your lunch…. The outside seating is a really nice space, the food is very good and the menu has something for everyone! The staff is very friendly and the service is great… I’m looking forward to coming back here soon!

Made a reservation by phone and when we arrived we were told that it was outdoor seating, which we did not ask for, and that it was closed. It was raining. Mistakes happen but the hostess was focused on how it wasn't her fault not how she could help. The manager at first said we can have a table in the bar which would have been fine but then pointed to a counter that wasn't even attached to the bar....this was incredibly disappointing. We left.I expected something better in their approach to us. This was our first time there...not going back. Just to note we went to another restaurant near by and they were very friendly and helpful. Without a reservation they were able to seat us in 1/2 hour.

This past weekend, my husband and I wanted to take a little ride to Guilford, we enjoyed the town so much we keep going back. At 1:00pm, we decided to go to Chapter One for lunch. The little restaurant is nice but the service sucked, we ordered salads for lunch and it took them 35 minutes to get them and that's because we asked another server to check our order. She came back a few minutes later saying that they just finishing preparing them. Ten minutes later, the waiter came with our salads and we never saw him again. Unless, you love just sitting around waiting for your food, that's the place to go.

Went for brunch and so happy I did! Sat in the heated patio which is an oasis. Incredibly warm and secluded. Great to have a lunch meeting or romantic brunch. Our server was just as fabulous as the food!
