My experience here is pleasant, got desert glasses with good price after insurance. Will shop there next year

Would give less if it was an option. Horrible customer service! 4 employees doing nothing while 2 customers sit and wait. One employee is on her phone. Since my husband's eye exam no one has bothered to even acknowledge us!! Let's see how much longer we sit here before we are acknowledged! We won't be coming back to Visionworks!

The doctor appointment was very friendly and professional. Then you go to pick out glasses and the mood changes. Not one smile from the staff and it felt like I was a bother. I took my prescription and went elsewhere. I'm hoping it was just a bad day for the girls.

Glasses selection is decent. Doctors seem okay. However, as others have mentioned, getting a live person on the phone here is next to impossible. I had some pain in the outer corner of one eye - nothing to send me to the ER or urgent care, but enough that I wanted it checked out by an ophthalmologist. I called (at 10am on a weekday) and had the displeasure of dealing with their infuriating automated system, which malfunctions at one point and just keeps repeating the same question even when you select one of the choices they offer. I legit spent 45 minutes trying that and then waiting on hold for customer service. In that time I booked an appointment at another eye care center and saw them 2 hours later. Vision Works customer service left a message for the store and said they’d call me. They did call me - 29 hours later! The person who called told me they could get me in the following week. Thanks but no thanks. I would understand if it was a routine eye exam but it wasn’t. Regardless of that, I’d honestly never go back due to the infuriating automated answering service. Eventually a customer needs a live person! They’re there, so pick up the phone! I found my new ophthalmologist as a result of this experience, though, and they’re responsive so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not sure if they take walk-ins or not, but I would suggest making an appointment.
I've experienced the gatekeeper call bot as well. It tries to connect you to VisionWorks 1-800 # customer service or to schedule an appointment with the bot, but there is no option if you need to speak to someone in the actual location and there's no option to leave a message for the store to call you about problems like this. Today I called to check on a fax that my neuro never received and I learned that if you say to the bot, "Help, my eyeball fell out and rolled under the couch! I need to speak to a doctor immediately!" you will get connected to the store. Good luck!
I have also tried calling them multiple times this week, all at different varying times as well and no one ever picks up the phone.
