I went in a week or so ago and the gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He talked to every customer like they were old friends. I felt like i was in Mayberry. I wish i remember the man's name. He definitely made my visit to this USPS office one of the best i have ever had.

I DON'T KNOW, YOU EVER THOUGHT OF LOOKING FOR IT IN THE PHONE BOOK?,PERHAPS, THE YELLOW PAGES? IN THAT PARTICULAR BOOK, IS LIKE A MANUAL, YOU CAN JUST ABOUT FIND ANYTHING, ANY # ,AND BUSINESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. GO FOR IT! LET YOUR FINGERS DO THE WALKING, MAKE THAT PHONE MANUAL USEFUL.

I don't think they're allowed to leave a package with a neighbor unless you fill out the actual card at the post office. They have to see ID to prove its really you making the request. Especially on packages requiring a signiture. Those rules changed a while back to protect customers.
