Never was able to talk to anyone, and never received a call back, very disappointing. Kneaded to file a complaint and never received a reply call back. Good thing it wasn't an emergency.

I am very disappointed in this place. I tried to adopt a puppy and they refused to let me adopt because I live in an apartment and can't afford a home. Even though I would have dedicated my time and energy to give them a happy home and the puppy I was trying to adopt would have been approved by my landlord.

Managers, caretakers and all staff have given their hearts, labor and love for many years to the physical and emotional needs of homeless dogs and cats form the Lucas County area. Every time I visit there, I see new improvements that either have been made or in the process of being completed to accommodate these animals who are awaiting and needing to be adopted into loving FOREVER homes. Please consider making them one of your choices of giving, or better yet, adopting a pet which will truly be a win-win situation for you and your family.

I had the same question in regard to a puppy kept outside without shelter and was told to contact the sheriff.
Try Doberman Rescue. They have really great, beautiful dogs!
