Update: resolved. 02/07/22 In direct violation of the Americans With Disabilities ACT. The public are being blocked and otherwise obstructed from making use of this public space. Upon notification of the violation of federal law the attending security officer refused to acknowledge the purpose of ADA compliancy and was extremely overbearing. After attempting to notify this attendant of federal regulation and how it pertains to this public space the individual became verbally combative and dismissive of my need for equal access to opportunities. I would suggest another location if access to a ADA compliant space is required until this egrevious issue is resolved.

Another wonderful treasure. Really great book selection. I have not bought a book in years because their offerings are very extensive. I can download right to Kindle which is amazing. They also deliver books to the library close to me for pick up. Their librarians have always been super helpful and kind.

The security “Woman “ had a hard time with me, see, I had a emigraine, so naturally I had my eyes closed. She tapped me on the shoulder and proceeded to tell me that there is no sleep at the Library. I let her know about the migraine and she told me that they cannot tell the difference between me “eyes closed “ NOT SLEEPING And eyes closed.. sleeping. I promptly let her know that the difference between would be my reply… LAME

I am probably at this library location once a week! It is such a great community resource. My daughter loves the children’s section, located in the bottom floor of the building. They always have a coloring table set up and there is a back room (where they do the storytime too), that has a pretend kitchen and a few other games and toys. There is a separate bathroom in the children’s area with a changing table as well. They do a fantastic summer reading program with lots of incentives and different difficulty levels for children of different ages. There is also a summer reading program for adults. The selection in the library as a whole is very good. If they don’t have a book, it is very easy to request it on hold. Sometimes it can take a while, if the book is really popular, but I also have enough books in the queue that this never bothers me. Additionally, if they don’t have the book in the entire library system collection, you can submit a request for them to order the book from you. I have done this several times with great results. Also, as of January 2020, the library no long charges fines for overdue items.
